The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Evaluates, analyzes, and designs using structural engineering techniques on small projects or portions of larger projects.
- Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
- Exercises limited judgment in making adaptations or modifications to design concepts.
- May supervise, coordinate, and direct the work effort of designers on the same project with some responsibility for checking their portion of the completed drawings.
- May write portions of specifications and assist in preparing proposal cost estimates.
- Performs limited design work in Revit.

Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- Five (5) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s)
- Título and Cédula are mandatory
- Preferred: Registered as a Professional Civil Engineer
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects
- Experience with steel and concrete structural design/calculations
- Advanced English skills
