As a Regional Energy Procurement Senior Specialist at O-I, you'll collaborate closely with the LATAM Energy Procurement Manager to lead energy sourcing projects across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador. Your mission? To optimize energy procurement strategies, mitigate risks, and maximize value for our organization.

- Drive the implementation of sourcing & risk management strategies for energy commodities, ensuring seamless execution and incident management, aligned with business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive market intelligence to inform decision-making and optimize our energy portfolio.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes, geopolitical developments, and industry innovations influencing energy procurement in the region.
- Lead regional and local tenders, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive savings initiatives to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Cultivate strong vendor relationships and ensure contract adherence through performance reviews and continuous improvements.
- Provide strategic insights on energy position reports and forecast price evolution to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and sustainability teams, to align energy procurement strategies with broader organizational objectives.

- Lead efforts to optimize total procurement costs, manage energy supply shortages, and identify alternative suppliers to ensure operational continuity.

**Qualifications** About You**:

- You have a Bachelor degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in energy procurement, including risk management.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, coupled with proficiency in strategic sourcing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Word, along with excellent project management skills.
- You love challenges, working in a very collaborative environment
- You have strong communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish - Additional languages are very welcome.
