Assistant Purchaser

Vadeto Group is looking for an Assistant Purchaser to join the team. The Assistant Purchaser will be accountable for executing aspects of product assortment, including item and vendor setup, item and order maintenance, order tracking, and store and vendor communication. The Assistant Purchaser supports the Buyer in the execution of the product vision and assortment planning to maximize sales and inventory health. The Assistant Purchaser will take on additional projects as necessary based on business priorities.

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking supplier negotiation.
- Ensuring appropriate contracts and Participation Agreements are put in place including coordination with appropriate stakeholders and legal.
- Interacting with parallel organizations in other geographies to assure consistent global approach.
- Drive change through Sourcing Events providing clear benefits and roles to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain open and transparent relationships with business colleagues that contribute to mitigating change resistance.
- Promote continuous value improvements in Procurement through effective process, technology and capability development.
- Contribute to development and preparation of reporting including procurement progress reports and savings realization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree (**pending/unfinished**) in Accounting or related field.
- 2 years in retail as Assistant Purchaser with international purchasing experience.
- 80% English - Oral and Written.
- Strong organizational skills, resourceful, proactive and a fast learner
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Google interface.
- Reliable, meets deadlines, and cooperate in accomplishing department goals and objectives.
- Produces work efficiently and accurately.
- Team player with strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, organized and can effectively prioritize.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Agua Blanca, Jal.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
