As a Import Export Assistant you will ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations by keeping abreast of changes in customs requirements and assisting in customs clearance procedures]”
In this role, you will maintain accurate records of import and export transactions, including invoices, shipping documents and customs declarations.
**What You’ll Do**
- Preparation of export invoices for finished products, raw materials, equipment, definitive invoices, change of regime and virtual invoices (guaranteeing compliance with current customs regulations).
- Maintenance of a file and record of the different import/export operations (physical and electronic).
- Keep inventory control of imported equipment with customs declaration code AF
- The Compliance with the requirements established by C-TPAT
- Control and revision of the expenses generated in the customs operation (revision of invoices, generation of purchase orders).
- Control and management of annex 24 and 30, traceability and reconciliation of inventories.
- Ensure compliance with foreign trade programs and certifications.
- Responsible for the control and revision of certificates of origin
- Expedite and rectify any delays with inbound Fed Ex and Estafeta Shipments
- Create USMCA Certificates based on custom broker feedback to submit to Customers as requested.

**Skills/Experience We’re Looking For**
- Knowledge of customs regulations, import and export laws and international transport procedures.
- Proficiency in import and export programs and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset to identify and solve problems or inefficiencies in import and export operations.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- English intermedia required
- Knowledge of customs regulations and experience in customs clearance procedures are required.
- Familiarity with international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
- Demonstrated experience in import/export operations, logistics or a relevant function 2 or 3 years
- Extensive knowledge in IMMEX program
- Knowledge in Customs Certifications. CTPAT, OEA suggested
