- Supports the planning & scheduling of raw materials for production
- Create work orders, review messages, expedite and follow up production priorities and regular schedules
- Coordinates the internal processing and movement of materials from stores to the production line to meet manufacturing schedule requirements
- Organizes / tracks of shipments for dispatch from the supply base to ensure on time delivery at the plant
- Maintains an optimum level of finished product inventory, ensuring the level of service required by the client

Under extensive supervision, this planner/scheduler role is responsible for manufacturing production planning and control work to optimize resource use and meet production schedules and standards, including: planning and controlling production schedules production and coordinate with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials., estimate and schedule the human resources, tools and equipment necessary for the production process, investigate, evaluate and recommend changes in production processes, systems, technology or equipment to improve the production capabilities of the organization. This level requires extensive knowledge of operating procedures and tools gained through advanced education and work experience.
- Optimize the use of resources to meet production schedules.
- Reports of operational metrics to help in the monthly forecast.
- Provide direction and supervision to less experienced staff.
- Maintains and reports complete and accurate information on Production Schedules and goals.
- Ensures optimal capacity for all production resources.
- Establishes guidelines for production orders to provide schedule balance.
- Analyze workflow and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize manpower and equipment.
- Assists in reallocating material not required for production orders; manages excess and obsolete inventory and material returns.
- Develops instructions for the work processes of Production Control; ensures that Schedulers are trained on all work processes.

*System maintenance ( Material Master) and coordinate with sourcing, procurement data integrity *Communicate material supply issues proactively with all required business functions. Assess problem areas and provide root cause analysis, technical support and direction to sites to resolve issue

**Salary**: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per day
