**JOB OFFER**:
Manage manufacturing processes, tooling, gauges, and equipment to economically produce product components and assemblies, and provide concurrent process functions from design concept through implementation.

**JOB DUTIES**:
The following positions typically report directly or indirectly to this position: Manufacturing Technicians/Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers/Engineers, Product Change Control Engineers/Engineers, Manufacturing Project Engineers/Engineers, 6 Sigma Black Belt. Provides supervisory support to operations and product managers for automated manufacturing systems, manufacturing processes, measurement and verification equipment, tools, and work standards. He works closely with product engineering, marketing, customer service, and operations managers to ensure common goals in support of product group goals.

Owners will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation and product groups by managing specific technical functions.

Oversees manufacturing engineering and support functions for current manufacturing processes, justification and implementation of new processes, machines, equipment, tooling, work standards, NC programming, gage planning, and troubleshooting. technical problems to provide the most efficient and economical manufacturing and assembly of quality products.

Coordinates launch dates and availability of machines, equipment, and material schedules to meet demand. Ensures the implementation of modern technology and verifies the effectiveness of equipment and systems. Sets standards and works with shop personnel to resolve issues related to processes, tools, equipment, etc.

Works closely with marketing, engineering, and customer service on concurrent product and process designs to ensure products and processes are robustly designed and support economical production. Provides project management support for major systems and equipment installations.

Responsible for managing new product programs, including coordinating product design,

component processing, sales forecasting, customer service, scheduling, and financial issues to ensure customer expectations are met while meeting functional and cost goals.

The incumbent provides training, development and motivation for a staff capable of meeting objectives and implementing cost reduction projects, ensuring simultaneous product and process design and meeting manufacturing/assembly process requirements. The incumbent actively participates in decisions that require experienced judgment and communicates regularly with managers from other divisions and departments, as well as with vendors, to resolve disagreements and provide feedback. Provides technical input for development and reviews capital projects and challenges the content of the projects to determine their validity and value before submitting them to senior management for approval.

Develops and maintains budgetary controls for the section, sets and reviews goals, and provides staffing requirements and future forecasts. Maintains awareness of new technology and assesses its value to the profit center. Helps staff develop and implement new systems and keeps other areas informed of progress. Effectively uses Class A, 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

The position impacts key quality objectives including continual improvement, on-time delivery, equipment accuracy, operational efficiency, cost savings, process capability, parts quality, ISO and Class certification A, etc.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Requires a bachelor's degree in an appropriate field related to manufacturing or engineering
- Previous supervisory experience and at least five to seven years of experience in manufacturing processes.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of the planning system, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods, and necessary tools.
- Analytical ability and communication skills are essential.
- Conversational English
