RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing, upgrading, and migrating SQL Servers to ensure their proper functioning
- Configuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions for optimal data protection
- Handling incidents, change tickets, and problem tickets promptly and effectively
- Setting up and managing maintenance jobs for crucial tasks such as backups, database integrity checks, index rebuilding, and statistics updates
- Troubleshooting and resolving locking issues, including deadlocks, blocking, and lock timeouts
- Managing database refresh and restore requests for different environments, including Integration, QA, UAT, and Production
- Performing performance tuning activities, such as identifying and addressing missing indexes, optimizing long-running queries, and mitigating CPU and memory bottlenecks

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in configuring Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) in SQL Server databases
- Proficiency in installing, upgrading, and migrating SQL Servers
- Familiarity with incident, change, and problem ticket management processes
- Knowledge of database backups and restores
- Understanding of SQL Server TDE and its implementation
- Strong skills in performance tuning, including addressing missing indexes, optimizing queries, and resolving CPU and memory bottlenecks
- Extensive knowledge of SQL Server replication and its configuration
