TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Multimedia Content Editor to produce content for the News team for all multimedia and social platforms.

It is important to have experience in the world of digital news and support the strategic vision of the company through content in various formats (articles, images, videos, audios) that offer news and service information to the diverse Latino audiences in the United States.

ABOUT YOU:
Must know the behavior and trends of digital communities in order to focus on the growth of audiences through the generation and distribution of various informative and news content of interest to specific markets.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

- Responsible for the creation, editing, formatting, and publication of digital content for social media, websites, and other online platforms such as YouTube.
- responsible for the content of a website or digital publication, including the text, images, and videos.
- Work with writers, producers, and other contributors to produce high-quality content that is engaging and informative while ensure that content meets company guidelines and standards.
- Digital editors also develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase engagement, website traffic, and social media followers.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance search engine visibility and rankings.
- Managing social and multi-platform content for station accounts
- Working with newsroom leaders and other content producers to create synergy across all platforms on station content.

YOU HAVE:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a digital content environment, journalism, or related experience.
- He/she must be able to work with multiple editors and digital teams spread across multiple cities.
- Should know how to communicate and establish workflows with the linear news operation, regional teams and digital editors, as well as with reporters, photographers, producers or any other member related to content coverage for digital platforms and social media in the local market.
- Additionally, the digital journalist will work closely with regional editors to optimize their content and establish workflows that assist in the production, programming and distribution of information in various formats (video, text, photo gallery) between national and local coverage areas.
- Journalism must be linked to new editorial narratives on digital platforms.
- Previous experience and a dynamic and inquisitive character are key to this position.
