**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Responsible for participating in the internal management reports, balance sheet reviews, internal controls, tax reporting and reconciliation, fixed asset tracking, Confianza Payroll Acuña, Monterrey and Mexico City, Social Security to Mexico City and Monterrey, State Taxes for Mexico City

**Essential Functions**:

- Responsible for monthly and year-end reporting to management and parent company.
- Monthly journal entries for accruals and reversals.
- Inter-company reporting and analysis.
- Account reconciliations.
- Mexico tax reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
- Support operations and group finance requests for financial data.
- Participate in and coordinate Financial/Government Audit(s).
- Participate in Physical Inventory.
- Implementing actions to correct financial performance
- Asset tracking.
- Support creation of annual budgets.
- Administrator of the Payroll and Time and Attendance systems.
- As well performs all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Management of job title(s): Financial Specialist, Payroll Specialist and Senior Import/Export Analyst

**Knowledge**:

- General Account
- Budget preparation and forecast
- Mexican Taxes
- Cost accounting systems and techniques.
- Payroll

**Experience**:

- Strong accounting experience with 4+ years experience
- Exposure to SAP or other financial ERP systems preferred

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail focus on error prevention
- Total flexibility showing an ability to work with diverse personalities and support multiple priorities
- Ability to analyze business issues, develop corrective actions and follow through to completion

**Education/Certifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
