Summary The Sales Support Engineer, Technical Sales Support Grinding Wears MECA is responsible for the execution of Mill Lining product strategy for sales growth and profitability. The specialist works with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop Mill Lining solutions for customers and grow business. Job Duties and Responsibilities - Executes Mill Lining product strategy for sales growth and profitability for NCA Market Area. - Offers product support and technical assistance/analysis to existing and potential customers.
- Develops and presents value solutions for customers as well as value propositions and win plan for sales cases. - Promotes new product designs/innovations to end-users as well as internal teams. - Provides sales teams with new potential customer identification. - Builds positive customer relations to generate repeated business and future leads.
- Responsible for sales target numbers in the respective region. - Offers insight on competition and advises team on pricing levels, etc. - Performs product inspections and provides reports and analysis. - Negotiates pricing levels and/or deliveries for product line.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. - The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. - Organized, autonomous and work with minimum supervision.
- Must be physically able to climb onto structures and stairs in industrial plants and mines. Qualifications Education/Training: - BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Experience: © Metso Outotec 2021 - Minimum 5 years of experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Strong negotiation skills required - Experience in CRM (SalesForce) an asset - Must comply with Metso Outotec health & safety program, including specific training at each mine site. - Must have a valid driver’s license - Must currently hold or be able to obtain a passport for international travel - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines - Strong communication skills, drive, and performance orientation.
