Ucademy is a fast growing UK-based tuition company designed to make the top academic expertise available to all. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Video Editor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is hardworking, willing to learn and has excellent organisational skills.
**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a talented and experienced video editor to join our team on a remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for our YouTube channel, as well as repurposing content for other platforms.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of video editing techniques, including making cuts, adding transitions, and incorporating music and sound effects. You will also need to have experience using Final Cut Pro, and be proficient with a MacBook Pro.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for creating engaging and entertaining videos that keep viewers watching. This position requires a commitment of 20-40 hours per week, and you will be expected to produce atleast 2 videos per week.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Edit high-quality videos for our YouTube channel and other platforms
- Use Final Cut Pro and a MacBook Pro to create engaging and entertaining content
- Make cuts, add transitions, and incorporate music and sound effects to enhance the viewing experience
- Keep viewers engaged and entertained with your edits
- Work 20-40 hours per week, producing approximately 2 videos per week
- Researching & Learning
**Qualifications**:
- Experience editing videos for YouTube or other platforms
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro and a MacBook Pro
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques and how to keep viewers engaged
- Ability to work remotely and independently to produce high-quality content on a regular basis
- Being passionate about the job
- Work confidentially and to required deadlines.
- Comfortable working remotely in a small team.
- Fast execution of tasks.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: From $138.25 per hour
