Role Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform meticulous data entry tasks, including uploading client invoices and reconciling bank statements on a daily basis.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in recording financial transactions to maintain up-to-date records.
- Offer comprehensive support to the accounting department by assisting with various accounting tasks and clerical duties.
- Take charge of compiling crucial data for foreign returns on a monthly basis.
- Utilize designated computer software to generate comprehensive reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Conduct thorough investigations to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
- Implement effective solutions and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to maintain data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Contribute actively to ad hoc projects initiated by the accounting department, providing valuable support and insights.
- Deliver timely updates on project progress and assist in implementing necessary actions to achieve project objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must.
- Previous proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, handling the full accounting cycle, is a must.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST (New York Time).
