**Job Description**:
**AECOM Mexico** is looking for a Procurement Supervisor with solid experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, in the field of materials and equipment for the Construction with knowledge in Purchasing, Supply of Goods, Warehousing, Freight Management and Logistics Outsourcing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Application of sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the internal customers
- Look for profitable suppliers, and initiate and organize partnerships with Subcontractors/Suppliers
- Elaborate an conduct RFIs, RFQs and RFP's
- Analyze Commercial proposals and contribute to the analysis of Technical proposals
- Key Unit prices matrix understanding and interpretation for Subcontractors proposals submission
- Negotiate with external Subcontractors/Suppliers to secure advantageous prices and commercial terms
- Process the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Elaborate PO's and contracts
- Participate in the Prequalification of Subcontractors/Suppliers
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
- Perform risk management for supply contracts
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs
- Management of Suppliers' Bonds and Insurance requirements

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Requirements:

- Strong and proven working experience in procurement and logistics in a construction company is a must. More than 6 years of experience in the construction field
- Experience in Procurement for Project execution
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, Industrial)
- Bilingual, Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

- 8 years of experience in the construction field with strong and proven working experience in procurement and logistics in a construction company is a must.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as in “reading” the market
- Good knowledge of Procurement management software
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Analytical capability. Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong teamwork skills and collaborative attitude to coworkers
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Experience in any ERP Procurement module
