Mold & Tool Design Engineer

**Visión general**:
It is responsible for the monitoring, modification, and development of casemolds, complements and gauges to optimize the operation of ceramic furniture.

**Responsabilidades**:
Ensures models and block molds include product specifications.
Develops tooling plans for each product.
Follow up on tests and changes, ensuring the optimal operation of molds and tools according to the format established in VSU.
Make improvements to the casemolds to optimize materials, operation and manufacturing times.
Evaluate block molds according to each product.
Ensures blockmolds include specification parameters for die making.
Make molds and casemolds in various materials.
Ensures compliance with the requirements of the area of responsibility of the VSU System.
Update and implement improvements in documents related to the Vertical Start Up, (VSU).
Document the changes made in the formats/specifications/HOE/Procedures/IT, etc. in Intelex/Sharepoint/Document Master List.
Ensures records modification control records with QR system.
Controls inventory of molds, casemolds and gauge casemold. QR Tracker.
Ensures traceability of modifications made to master molds, plaster casemolds, gauges casemold according to New Products and ECNs.
Verifies that toolmakers and modelers implement best practices according to each plant in the manufacture of casemolds.
Generate scan and report ultracal models for verification of thicknesses and symmetries.
Ensures reports of demolding, sealing, washing, dewatering, and resistance of plaster molds obtained from the casemolds.
Develop tooling to optimize casemold manufacturing.

**Requisitios**:
Knowledge - Autocad 2d Drawings / QC-400/ Standards NOM/ Security, Quality, Environment politics/ Interpretation engineering drawings

Education
- Engineering degree

Experience
- 2 years of experience in a similar position desirable in the ceramics industry.

Skills and abilities - English advanced, Responsible, Proactive, Collaborative, Organized, Customer-centric, Sense of urgency, Focus on results, with Analytical Thinking and interpersonal and communication skills.
