As a part of John Deere’s Enterprise Technology and Innovation Center, you will work in a cross functional team supporting John Deere Power Systems (Engines). You will extract and manipulate data from multiple systems across product line to create reports; analyzes department statistics, note trends, and makes recommendations to management. You will also evaluate database effectiveness and review data for accuracy and trends.
- Analyzes requests for information and determines how to extract the data from the database systems for the appropriate reports.
- Develops and tests the accuracy of reports created to ensure high quality information is provided to end-users.
- Documents processes and provides technical support to database users.
- Gathers and summarizes data from various sources in order to complete reports.
- Retrieves records or data and distributes information as appropriate in order to provide timely and accurate information to department members or external customers.
- Maintains database systems, ensuring the integrity of the data within each system and resolves issues relating to the database information.
- Collaborates with multiple groups to develop and support data reporting needs.

**What Skills You Need**:

- Experience in data management or a related field.
- Knowledge of business intelligence visualization tool (e.g. Tableau/Power BI) & database queries (SQL)
- Knowledge of data gathering and analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of database administration, database design, and performance tuning.
- Skill in interpersonal communications and ability to communicate with multiple people/stakeholders.
- Ability to independently solve problems, think critically, and generate conclusions/solutions from multiple data sources.
- Fluent in English.

- Bachelor degree in engineering, data science or equivalent experience.
