**Job Summary**:
Has overall accountability for safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost within areas of responsibility.
- # Plans and coordinates all phases of manufacturing in a cellular environment.
- # Utilizes the toolsof Lean Manufacturing TManage defined. cells within the plant.
- # Manages Lean initiatives within area of responsibility.
- # Directly and indirectly manages personnel in manufacturing. supervision, production and inventory control, quality control, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance.
- # Directs and administers programs relating to safety and environmental compliance and improvement. # Actively plans for the development of hourly, supervisory, and management personnel. Regularly evaluates the management and professional development of personnel.

**Responsibilities**:
Training and development of plant machine center operators and support staff to create effective teams and efficient shift production

Converts design team outputs into work orders and schedules to meet customer demands

Communicates with project managers to understand project priorities and schedule production accordingly.

Works with MaintenanceSuperintendent to accommodate routine and annual maintenance activities.

Ensure efficient production scheduling to achieve plant production targets.

Identifies opportunities for cost control and works to implement them with support fromPlant Manager.

Focused on ongoing process improvement.

Ensures production is carried out according to high qualitystandards set forth by the company and project team.

Always promotes a safe working environment.

Managescollection and reporting of production data, KPI#s etc. to support routine dashboards

Operates with transparency and earnstrust at all levels through communication and actions

**Required Skills and Experience**

5+ years# experience in manufacturing operations.
- # 2+ years# experience in a supervisory capacity..
- # Excellent project management skills.
- # Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety.
- #Working knowledge of local regulations.
- # Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group.
- # 5S Lean Process Experience
