OVERVIEW: As an OpEx Coordinator, you will support the Continuous Improvement Initiatives and programs implementation and deployment in the Manufacturing site, cost reduction projects identification and monitoring based on PDCA cycles, Lean techniques training and implementation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Be responsible for defining the Optimum Operator Line Balance, std headcount and Lean process flow in all the production Lines. - Be Responsible of stablishing visual management standards in production lines and shopfloor areas. - Lead and coordinate the 5S Program in the site. - Stablish 5S Audits cadence and visual standards. - Train the operative and administrative personnel in Lean manufacturing techniques and problem-solving tools. - Support OpEx activities aligned with SP Business System. - Provide technical expertise on problem solving methods and lean manufacturing tools. - Prepare and Facilitate appropriate Kaizen events based on Value stream mapping opportunities and site needs aligned with the operation’s strategic plans. - Develop standard work sheets and procedures to document production process flow and lean daily management processes. - Lead and support cost reduction projects on the site based on the main drivers of waste. - Manage the annual cost reduction projects portfolio of the Site. - Participates on Internal Audits, as required. - Be a change agent in the site promoting CI initiatives and actively participating in. - Support and participate in the Tiered meeting system, Gemba walks and improvement ideas generation. - Actively promote company Values, Mission, Vision and ensure all functions adhere to the Quality Policy. - Transmit teamwork, positive attitude, leadership and discipline. Fact and data-driven, methodic, and analytical. - Support and enforce MTE Policies internal or external, like Safety First, 5’s, etc.

Experiência y requisitos

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. - Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred. - Lean Manufacturing trainings or certifications. Experience - 5 to 8 Years’ experience as an OpEx, Lean or CI Engineer, Coordinator or Leader. - Experience in one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Medical, Electric, Electronics, Aerospace. - Experience in leading and supporting the implementation of improvement projects with cross-functional teams. - Experience in Leading and coordinating Continuous Improvement initiatives like 5S, Improvement suggestion systems, cost reduction & productivity projects, Lean and Six Sigma internal certification programs. - Experience as a Kaizen facilitator for operational and transactional areas using different lean techniques and problem-solving tools. Knowledge: - English 80%-90%, read, spoken, written. - ISO9000 or similar quality standards. - CAD software, MS Office, Minitab, Power BI. - Knowledge on 5S and lean daily management systems Tiered Meetings, Leader Std Work. - Industrial engineering background, Time/movement Studies, Operator Balance and standards definition based on takt time. - Troubleshooting and strong problem-solving experience A3, (Red X shainin preferred). - Familiar with statistical tools such as SPC, Cpk Studies, DOE etc. - Continues Improvement tools knowledge (Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, PDCA, VSM, Lean Manufacturing techniques). - Project administration/Gantt Charts. (Cost Reduction, automation and improvement projects preferred). - Familiar with Six Sigma concepts. - Experience in diverse manufacturing environments, day-to-day pressures of a dynamic production flow and quick decision-making abilities.
