- Ensure the design, coordinate the manufacture, maintain, and/or modify the necessary tooling to operate the production lines under its responsibility, and that allow the continuous improvement of the established manufacturing standards, supported by the implementation of poka yokes, preventive maintenance, etc.
- Define and manage the operating parameters of the production processes, in order to maintain and improve the results of the processes, as well as implement new strategies to ensure the achievement of the objectives of the Business Unit
- Define the process flow and the layout of the lines under his responsibility, using line balancing tools, time and movement analysis, and ergonomics in order to optimize the company's resources.
- Define, implement, manage and improve standard work methods and code change instructions, in order to meet established operating standards.
- Ensure that each and every one of the responsibilities that your position demands comply with the specific requirements of the client, directives, policies, corporate procedures and standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA, among others.
- Use the information resulting from the process of the production lines in charge to take actions that ensure and improve the ability (process capability).
- Participate with the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer in the process of development, implementation and start-up of production of new projects, products and processes.
