Ci 4.0 Engineer

Eaton’s VEH NAA North America Auto division is currently seeking a CI 4.0 Engineer.

**What you’ll do**:
The CI Engineer leads part of the deployment of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Standards & Tools for Eaton’s new Aguascalientes manufacturing site and can be active support to the plant. This includes Lean and Six Sigma process training and mentoring at a business area level.
Job duties support the creation and implementation of standards, input to CI strategy, and coordination of Kaizen Level 3 events such as RIE’s / BPI, additional to Kaizen Blitz that will lead to improvements in factory margins, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process abnormality. As well as leading Industry 4.0 projects

**A.Provides Industry 4.0 support across the organization, regarding the focus pillars of the initiative (Additive Manufacturing, Augmented Reality, Digital Work Instructions, SPC, Real Time OEE, etc).**
**A.1- **Leads Continuous improvement projects regarding cost out or insourcing process improvements thru PLC**
**A.2- Sensors implementation**

B.Participates in Eaton Lean System (ELSS) assessments and identify performance gaps. Works supporting CI manager with the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
C.Provides Lean and Six Sigma support across the organization to drive short-term and long-term business improvements.
D.Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction
E.Works through the leadership team to lead the development and implementation of the site Lean and Six Sigma strategy, actions, training and cross-functional activities including Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs).
F.Supports the continuous improvement (Lean and Six Sigma) team. Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
G.Assure environmental, health and safety requirements are satisfied when the projects are implemented.
H.Coordinates the Cost Out Process, CI Tracker deployment, execution and improvement

**Qualifications**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
A.2+ years of related experience
B.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
C.English: Advanced
D.Drive for results and willing to learn continuously
E.Excellent communication skills & Strong analytical skills
F.Proficient in Power Point, Excel, SolidWorks (3D), AutoCAD (2D)
G.Ability to support in multiple projects/activities
H.Experience in core ELSS tools (VSM, 5S+, Standard Work, Setup Reduction, Kanban, Problem Solving, TPM)
I.Knowledge in PLC programs, mainly Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron and Fanuc, works on developing backups and improvement of the parameters and program itself

**Preferred Qualifications**:
A.Formal training/certification in Lean tools (5S, Standard work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Setup Reduction (SUR),
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Material Flow (LMF) and 6 Sigma with at least 5 years of related experience.
B.Hard Savings & Kaizen execution prior experience
C.Automotive industry experience minimum 1 year
D.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly processes, equipment technology, and equipment capability.
E.Expertise with IATF 16949
