About Blackhawk Network:
Overview:
This person will be responsible for managing several strategic retail clients for Blackhawk Network, expanding existing alliance programs, and supporting the outside sales team. Current programs include gift cards, telecom products, and prepaid financial cards. This person will spend most of his/her time meeting with and on the phone with clients, suppliers and internal contacts. Provides support to the sales team on the development, strategy and administration of marketing programs and sales initiatives. Develops, project manages and supports launch of new Distribution Partners, new stores, and new items.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Distribution Partners to develop ideas and programs for promotions; lead calls between AM, Sales and Business Development to present new products
- Manage the procurement, distribution and fulfillment of various promotional programs into distribution partner stores
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of marketing/promo calendars, conduct analysis on promotion lift/ROI and actual vs. forecast post-promotion
- Manage new card set-ups and resets coordinating with DPs, space planning, conduct analysis for proposed discontinuations
- Track invoices and work with Marketing and Accounting to ensure invoices are appropriately paid and coded
- Manage PO process for all card allocations, resolving allocation issues and providing order information to Distribution Partners
- Manage the shipping process with DSD personnel and ensure that all store are correctly set up in all internal Blackhawk systems
- Maintain and analyze sales reporting and results
- Upsell distribution partners on additional products and services
- Work to maximize the success of partner programs at the retail level through display, advertising and promotion
- Project manage the design, creation and delivery of fixtures
- Deliver presentations to alliance chains on the status of the partner programs
- Negotiate prices and contracts with both vendors and alliance chains
- Schedules and leads (recurring for top accounts) calls with marketing and DP to ensure promotions are successfully executed
- Manage the day to day tasks for the account
- Project manage cross functional team to implement various initiatives
- Be available to travel approximately 20% of the time
- Be capable of learning new product lines and selling and implementing those lines on an ongoing basis

Qualifications:

- Excellent presentation skills with ability to work at the executive level of organizations
- Proven ability to build trust with clients and close deals
- Excellent project management, delegation and logistic skills with the proven ability to implement programs on time, in spec and on budget
- Ability to understand and manage technical details of various programs and explain key elements to partners
- Comfort with complex and intangible product concepts that are not yet fully formed
- In-depth experience managing installation and operations of in-store services
- Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines with limited direction
- High degree of initiative and keen sense of urgency
- Ability to think strategically, formulates action plans, and sells them through to management
- Proficient with various desktop software and marketing technologies, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project

Experience Required
- 4 year college degree
- 5+ years of experience managing retail clients and implementing marketing/merchandising programs
