Provides high-quality project management, oversight and tracking of all brands, departments, and continent-specific initiative work. Types of work will include leading discrete projects and delivering project results and supporting the business process design/re-engineering where/if needed.

**EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS**
- Responsible for managing multiple projects - department initiatives and select additional projects.
- Deliver projects on schedule, within budget and to the quality standards of the organization.
- Promote value added project decisions for internal and external stakeholders utilizing design/construction industry experience, team collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Complete coordination of all aspects of the projects with MI Design Team, Brand, Development, Procurement, Owner / Franchise Services, and various other departments
- Utilize project management software to track multiple projects for accurate reporting and forecasting to internal stakeholders.
- Promote the use of appropriate software platforms with design consultant teams.
- Responsible for developing, executing and communicating project plans, project schedules, proposals and change orders.
- Responsible for managing overall project execution focused on design excellence, early problem identification / resolution, within budget and to the quality standards required by Marriott.
- Develop qualified bidders list of Design Consultants (when needed).
- Prepare and issue of RFP/bid packages, contracts and material orders, change orders, and forecasts and monthly reports (when needed).
- Review of payment requisitions, change order requests (when needed).
- Develop of project schedules; tracking and review of design documents (when needed).
- Develop relationships with and provide constant and consistent communications to necessary stakeholders
- Maintain clear project-related communications and resolutions across all internal stakeholders.
- Develop, execute and manage contracts in accordance with divisional contracting policies and corporate guidelines (when needed).
- Manage the build out of sample rooms / mock-ups (when needed).
- Liaison with procurement to assure the expeditious design, development and documentation of FF&E (when needed).
- Share best practices and lessons learned to promote continuous product and process improvement

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, scheduling, project & database mgmt. software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCad, Bluebeam, Adobe).
- Spanish or Portuguese biliterate is required.

**Education/Experience**:

- 4-year degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture or Design preferred, or equivalent work experience within the industry.
- Minimum 5 years progressive design or project management experience
- Experience in the disciplines of architecture, interior design, product specification, procurement, construction management and accounting.
- Experience in managing owner relations, development of scopes of work, estimates of cost, bidding and contracting, procurement of materials, installations of services, financial and scheduling management associated with the renovation and/or conversion and/or construction of lodging properties.
- PMP Certification preferred.
