- Exceptional oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to
communicate complex information accurately, clearly, and quickly to all levels.
- Experience in recommending and implementing security technology, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, a control center, and monitoring systems.
- Experience conducting security risk assessments and making mitigation recommendations.
- High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and time management skills.
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, work independently, as well as work as part of a team in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrated success/results in prior roles including matrix organization.
- Experience in transportation and supply chain security to include knowledge of C-TPAT/OEA requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience. Security credentials are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting research and investigations related to Fraud, thefts, Supply chain security.
- English Professional Level.
- Prepare and present monthly safety reports status to Regional Security Manager
- Seek feedback and provide continuous improvement development actions
- Supervise employees to assure compliance with the established standards of physical security, electronic security, fire systems, etc.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and People Matters representatives as necessary to discuss/resolve workplace issues.
- Work with security systems to provide input for maintenance or installation of security systems equipment (CCTV, access control, etc.).
- Implement updated corporate standard procedures and modifications to corporate requirements.
- Conduct complex investigations across a broad range of issues.
- Review company facilities and acquisitions to mitigate risks through appropriate security measures.
- Provide sage advice and direction in all security related issues.
- Perform complex analysis as well as ensure compliance with established security principles.
- Conduct assessments of the facility to ensure physical security measures meet corporate and legal requirements.
- Maintain productive liaison relationships with internal business partners and external service providers, law enforcement, government agencies and other entities as necessary.
- Administration of purchases and payment of invoices of the security area.
- Review and constantly update the site and regional security risk assessments.
- Any general administration and ancillary activities as may be required and related to the above functions in accordance with the business requirements of the Company
