Senior Employee Relations Partner

The Senior Employee Relations Partner is responsible for executing the Employee Relations strategy and operations ensuring an efficient and effective customer-oriented service for employees and managers to create a positive & productive work environment. The role requires a broad understanding of Employee Relations, Country specific employment law, HR best practices, HR operations, Performance management, Talent Management, and the ability to support both employees and management in various HR-related matters in remote locations.

Your responsibilities
- The role is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by developing, implementing, and overseeing employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
- This role involves managing employee grievances, conducting investigations, providing guidance to management on employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.
- Ensure that all employee relations practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and HR professionals on handling employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, and redundancy actions.
- Implements globally key HR processes related to the employee’s lifecycle, such as HR Operations, Performance Management, Talent Management, among other key HR processes.
- Provides advisory services to employees on topics such as engagement, succession planning, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Proactively seeks and resolves issues that involves employees, their leaders and union (where applicable).
- Recommend and suggest improvements in productivity through process reviews, innovations, and new technologies including identifying automation and shared services opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, support meetings with unions and collective bargaining agreement as required (and when applicable).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee relations and promote a positive work culture.
- Create, update, and enforce employee relations policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements.
- Mediate and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Identify opportunities for improving employee relations processes and recommend solutions.
- Drives operational excellence, permanently monitoring our KPI's, SLA's, goals execution, and looking for constant improvement

- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and grievances, escalating as necessary.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Educate employees on available benefits and assist with enrollment and claims issues.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and make recommendations for policy updates as needed.
- Ensure that HR policies are consistently applied across the organization.

What you bring
- 10-15 years of experience in HR, as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner supporting organizations with a global presence in a matrixed environment responsible for Employee Relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or other country specific HR Certification
- Advanced English
