QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in a health-related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience in an acute care setting)
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Three (3) Years of Management experience in a Health Care setting
- Province of Manitoba Class Drivers License, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health

The Director Clinical Operations, Acute Care Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC), shall be accountable to the Regional Lead Acute/Chief Nursing Officer and is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation and operation of Acute Care services at BRHC within Prairie Mountain Health.

**Overview**:

- Responsible for the safe administration and operation of Acute Care services at Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC) in Prairie Mountain Health.
- Monitors appropriate financial, human resources, equipment and environmental issues of Acute Care services at BRHC in Prairie Mountain Health.
- Oversees the development of policies and procedures related to Acute Care services at BRHC
- Instrumental in the planning and development of a sustainable department.
- Participates in portfolio/facility/regional team structure.
- Develops and maintains functional relationships with other departments/programs.
- Plans for continued professional development of staff and self.
- Promotes positive public relations.
- Operationalizes Prairie Mountain Health’s Vision, Mission and Values statements.
- Promotes the quality dimensions of access, safety, effectiveness and satisfaction in the provision of clinical services.
