Maintains and works in a safe, reliable, cost effective manufacturing operation to produce the required product volumes, with full regard for health, safety and stakeholder concerns. Installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots all mechanical, hydraulic, electric equipment and instrumentation. Oversees the design, development and maintenance of operations information systems to monitor manufacturing efficiency. Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

**Summary**:
Summary: The EBS Manager is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Envista Business System (EBS), allowing the site to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) targets.

The Envista Business System (EBS) is our proven system for achieving success. EBS is a philosophy, set of values, and series of management processes that collectively define who we are and how we do what we do at Envista. Our EBS tools are designed to help us excel in the areas of Growth, Leadership, and Lean, building on a strong foundation of EBS fundamentals (Voice of Customer Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, Problem Solving, and Visual & Daily Management).

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the EBS team and training department.
- Partner with the local HRPB to develop a solid bench of successors, as an active promotor of the OTA process.
- Accelerate results in SQDCP by leveraging EBS tools, mentoring skills, and change management processes.
- Strategically partner with site leaders to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities through direct collaboration, facilitation of Kaizen events, and coaching/mentoring of Lean EBSLs.
- Partner with the stakeholders such as VP Ops, Ops Director, Senior Engineer Director, and Sr HR to ensure alignment of a EBS roadmap to meet PD/CVD/KPI requirements and EBS Sustainability.
- Partner with local and global leaders such as VP Ops, VP HR and Senior Engineer Director to ensure alignment of a EBS roadmap to meet PD/CVD/KPI requirements and EBS Sustainability.
- Directly provide formal and informal EBS training and coaching at all levels and at Gemba. Help build and utilize a community of EBS Certified Practitioners and professionals to drive awareness, interest, and usage of EBS Tools within the business.
- Continuously advance EBS capabilities to the site by leveraging the EBS Fundamentals Playbook and corresponding action plans
- Coordinate advancement of EBS capabilities through partnership with Commercial and Leadership EBS colleagues.
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and provide expert counsel on appropriate EBS tools to eliminate them.
- Promote and facilitate associate development in EBS Fundamentals, Lean tools and other tools as required

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Teamwork - must be able to lead a team(s) of Envista employees from multiple disciplines and/or companies (Leadership, Builds People, Teams, and Organizations)

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- BS or BA Degree in Engineering or Business required; Master’s Degree preferred
- 10+ years of Operations or Engineering Leadership experience
- Experience managing people
- Demonstrated successful experience as EBS Leader with extensive EBS experience.
- Ability to work with functions in the implementation of the Continuous Improvement (EBS) roadmap and implement key growth initiatives; successfully drives change, handles conflict / ambiguity
- Superior skills in communications, training / adult learning, consulting / influencing; teamwork across disciplines, regions, and cultures
