We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Academic and Government Sales Team for Mexico and Central America. This role will be based in Mexico City and report to the Director of Sales for Mexico and Central America. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a broad range of industry recognized services including ProQuest eBook Central, Rialto, and Oasis. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- A minimum 5 years of B2B experience in direct sales for the A&G market.
- Proven record of managing complex, high value accounts and generating new business.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and related software relevant to the role.
- Proven experience in forecasting and pipeline management
- Bachelor’s or relevant work experience (Library Science or STEM focus preferred)
- Fluent in Spanish and English

- Knowledge of ProQuest, Ex Libris, Innovative and Clarivate products (or equivalent portfolio), clients and products, with ability to clearly and compellingly articulate value proposition for products and respond to inquiries about product functionality.
- Emotional Intelligence, and highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Experience influencing and selling to the executive-level decision maker.
- Deep understanding of information and research industry
- Experience with Salesforce

What will you be doing in this role?
- Be the primary point of contact with customers and prospects, focusing on new and renewal business and build long-term relationships.
- Explore the new logos with strong sales penetration skills together with internal shareholders.
- Upselling new research, content, and software solutions to existing and assigned accounts
- Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination, working closely with product specialists, trainers, and renewal teams to develop an overall account plan to grow long term revenue.
- Managing full portfolio forecast (renewals and new business) including specialty products and content.

About the Team

The Account manager will interact and work with a large team and will work cross-functionally with product sales managers, renewal account manager, customer success consultant, presales consultant, regional marketing support, product managers and more. The teams you will be working with are located across Latin America.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position that requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
