Work/responsibilities regularly span multiple job families within this job group. Maintains and works in a safe, reliable, cost effective manufacturing operation to produce the required product volumes, with full regard for health, safety and stakeholder concerns. Installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots all mechanical, hydraulic, electric equipment and instrumentation. Oversees the design, development and maintenance of operations information systems to monitor manufacturing efficiency. Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers. This job family is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job families within the job group; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined job family within the job group; 3) managerial roles spanning more than one family that are not broad enough in scope and impact to be assigned to the Business Unit/General Management job family within the Management job group.

**Reports To: Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager.**

**Summary**:
He constantly seeks to implement various strategies together with his Immediate boss to help fulfill the following in the different areas he is in charge of.

Monthly production & productivity plan; Supervise that the expected output per person is achieved, and create an action plan when required.

Achieve delivery times based on established goals.

Create, take leadership with other departments, as well as follow up on the action plan of the problems that impact the delivery time of Spark Builder and Manufacturing,

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
He constantly seeks to implement various strategies together with his Immediate boss to help fulfill the following in the different areas he is in charge of.

Monthly production & productivity plan; Supervise that the expected output per person is achieved, and create an action plan when required.Achieve delivery times based on established goals.Create, take leadership with other departments, as well as follow up on the action plan of the problems that impact the delivery time of Spark Builder and Manufacturing,

Applies internal policies and Internal Work Regulations in your work area.

Applies sanctions, if warranted, to your staff. From a verbal reprimand to a suspension of days, depending on the seriousness of the offense.

Manages the permits of its workers and vacations according to the production needs of the area.

Report to Human Resources, any movement of personnel, using the internal format of movement of personnel.

Applies evaluations in accordance with internal procedure, based on the list provided by Human Resources on the first days of each month.

Reports on the same day, the employees who will work overtime, using the internal overtime format.

He has at least one daily meeting with his staff to manage the work day or see another matter of relevance to the work area.

Keeps his immediate boss informed of any situation in his work area.

Keeps the +QDIP's charters of his work team up to date.

Keeps the dates of the late cases up to date, giving a good service to customer service

He ensures that all employees in his area use the safety equipment and work in accordance with the company's safety measures.

Immediately report to your boss and/or Human Resources any unsafe condition or act.

Verify that your area is always well defined.

Ensures the cleanliness of the area, especially under and behind the machines.

You have identified, with the danger diamond, all the chemicals in your work area.

Ensures preventive maintenance for Machinery and Equipment.

Ensures the cleanliness of Machinery and Equipment.

Ensures the correct operation of machinery, equipment and tools with properly trained personnel.

Maintains equipment and machinery complete with original parts and working properly.

Immediately communicates doubtful conditions of the machinery to his immediate boss and the Maintenance Supervisor.

Place preventive/corrective maintenance orders as the case may be.

It is responsible for coordinating, together with Human Resources, all the training for its employees in the technical, administrative and human areas.

The employee training folder is up to date.

Train staff on MSDS.

Keeps the Cross-Training matrix updated.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION**

Preferred professional, Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.

3 years of previous experience in the position.

At least knowledge of process improvement and rerouting.

Knowledge of metal mechanical processes.

Desirable basic knowledge in SIX-SIGMA.

Desirable to master the English language in at least 80%
