**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in the success of our service operations. In this role, you will be responsible for assist and coordinate of our and Gas Service Latin America Environmental Health and Safety teams and the Latin America Service Operations organizations.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**

The EHS Specialist supports the implementation and coordination of EHS programs in support of our Gas Services organization including:

- Provide EHS compliance guidance to project teams
- Provide incident case management
- Provide EHS data as required for Siemens Energy’s internal reporting
- Coordinating projects and process as required.
- Safety incident management, reporting, and investigation
- Support incident investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of Near Miss and incidents to ensure safe work procedures are being followed with respect to Company policy, OHSA, EPA, and client/ company policy as well as applicable regulatory country laws within the specified area where work is being performed.
- Communicate regular updates regarding injury and illness awareness and mitigating measures.
- Assist with the resource management of contractor Safety Lead Engineers for project support.
- Assist with EHS data management, analysis, and interpretation.
- Support EHS data reporting and to internal and external customers.
- Support management of Enablon system.
- Creation of EHS related communications
- Support for medical periodic checks and laboratory exams.
- Support PPE definition and purchasing

**What You Bring**
- Around 4+ years of formal education in EHS related field, or relevant work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of the EHS field, including concepts, practices, and procedures related to EHS. This position requires an understanding of applicable EHS relevant country regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the organization's business practices and issues faced and contribute to problem resolution of those issues.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with root cause analysis assessment and incident investigation. Knowledge of Human Factors/Human Performance is a plus.
- English and Spanish at professional working proficiency level.
- Portuguese desirable
