**About Us
GKN Automotive is the market leader in conventional, all-wheel and electrified drive systems and solutions. With a comprehensive global footprint, we design, develop, manufacture and integrate an extensive range of driveline technologies for over 90% of the world’s car manufacturers.
**Role purpose
Lead the Lean Manufacturing transformation activities within the Region to ensure improvement in manufacturing cost and operational metrics. The role will work with the sites to develop functional systems and solutions with a focus on scalability, automation, reliability, security and quality.
**Key responsibilities**
**Personal Capability Building**
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
**Procedural Improvement**
Lead on procedural development and improvement, informed by policy and operating frameworks, to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of services.
**Project Management**
Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.
**Project Reporting and Review**
Manage the project review process; provide stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at agreed review points to enable them to evaluate progress and agree on change.
**Network of Influence**
Participate actively in the development and nurturing of networks and relationships internally and externally to support successful implementation of digital initiatives.
**Training development and delivery**
Design and develop content for training courses to fill gaps in established program, and run complex or customized training courses to improve employee performance. Involves focusing on a specific functional area.
**Insights and Reporting**
Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports.
**Building Capability**
Implement the formal development framework for a team, with guidance from senior colleagues. Provide informal coaching to others throughout the organization in area of expertise.
