**Purpose**

Contribute to the fulfillment of the production plan, working in a safe and responsible manner for the manufacture of good parts the first time, respecting the standards and specifications of product quality based on Timken standards.
Contribute in activities that take place in the production line cup / cone, Program loading, Positioning of the working coordinate axes, assembly, set-up of tools and machines to run the program, parts with the specified dimensions and tolerances.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Safeguarding physical integrity by following security standards at each workstation.- Effective use of the Andon system (Follow-up of opening and documentation of incidents on the floor).
- Prepare and load in the correct position the forging and components in the machine.
- Translation and conversion of numerical instructions and computer commands to perform the correct and accurate function of the machinery.
- In charge of selecting the starting method defined for each process and adjusting the parameters according to the working conditions taking the tolerances as a reference.
- Assembly of devices necessary to perform model changes ensuring balancing and centering of each element, set up the machines to perform complete cycles.
- Handling of measuring instruments, ensuring the verification and dimensional control in time and form, maintaining tolerances within specification.
- Responsible for the use and care of machinery, report equipment breakdowns to area managers.

**Bachelor´s Degree**:
High school with 1 year experience or Technician and Bachelor Degree
