**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Company''s mission, vision and values in performance of daily activities.
- Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
- Develop a production plan for assembly and/or production/press lines that meets 100% on time delivery while best utilizing available capacity (line and colleague) that will drive MRP to schedule supplier deliveries on a timely basis. May be across shifts.
- Schedule production for assembly and/or production/press lines and monitor daily inventories of raw material, finished goods and work in process.
- Monitor manufacturing''s performance against the production schedule and make adjustments as required.
- Assist in the forecast, release and expediting of customer production requirements to and from suppliers.
- Review material availability against the production schedule.
- Assists in maintaining inventory levels for production materials and conduct physical inventory inventories as required.
- Develop shipping schedule for finished goods.
- Communicate with Customer Service Representatives, Shipping, Quality Assurance, Production and Purchasing on scheduling issues.
- Assure MRP system data accuracy.
- Monitor and coordinate purchased part releasing.
- Report Company approved measureables and related corrective/improvement actions for purchased parts & finished goods.
- Participate in team problem solving activities and process improvement activities (ex. 8 D Reporting, Kaizen, etc.).
- Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registrations (ex. TS-16949).
- Assist with plant activities to achieve quality, productivity and cost reduction goals.
- Responsible for reporting all accidents or injuries, however minor and all work place hazards to the department leader immediately.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in work area.

Qualifications:

- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
- One to three years experience in materials.
