Interior Designer

The Interior Designer will be required to provide basic design services and layout for commodities purchased and be responsible furniture quotes and preparing layouts as required. The Interior Designer will work closely with company senior project managers, interior designers, contract managers and clients on several critical business processes and matters during the life of the interior design project.

*Responsibilities*
- Place all orders, track orders, schedule deliveries and coordinate trucks with the manufacturer for manufacturing and delivery according to the project schedule.
- Responsible for all field measurements whether in existing spaces or new construction.
- Creatively solve problems pertaining to the function and quality of interior environment.
- Perform services relative to interior spaces, including, design analysis, space planning, and furnishings, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination.
- Manage projects, develop cost estimates, evaluate bid proposals, review documents, and develop standards for efficient space management.
- Maintain all communication required for project success.
- Coordinate with senior project manager and/or interior designer to ensure all quality assurance checklist items are completed.
- Determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, design preferences, purpose and function.
- Additional duties or responsibilities as required or requested

**Requirements**:

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree ( Interior Design, Architect or similar) 3 years of experience.
- Experience in preparing furniture quotes.
- Strong computer software skills and internet capabilities (Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Paint Shop, etc.)
- Experience with preparing and interpreting AutoCAD /Revit 2D and 3D or Project Matrix software or image editing experience.
- Experience with furniture manufacturer or distributor companies a plus.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated with a willingness to work occasional overtime.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
