- This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Power Transformer Engineer currently based in Mexico who is interested in building a career in the United States.

Alabama, USA
- Work Model: On-site / Relocation to Alabama
- Candidates must be willing and able to relocate from Mexico to Alabama, USA .
- A valid U.
S. work visa is required .
- The client will provide support with the work authorization/work permit process as applicable.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience designing large power transformers (>100 MVA / 230 kV)
- Experience working on projects in the United States and familiarity with U.
S. customers
- Experience with IEEE C57, ANSI, and IEC standards.
- Experience working with utilities, consulting engineers, and EPC customers.
- Experience with transformer design software such as ACADEM, TRES, ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, MATLAB, or equivalent is preferred.
- Advanced English
What You'll Do
- Lead the electrical design and technical review of large power transformers.
- Perform calculations related to impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems.
- Participate in customer design reviews and provide technical support to utilities and consulting firms.
- Support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field technical investigations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
