Important retail global company is looking for "Corporate Tax Accountant" based in Mexico City General Objective: As a Corporate Tax Accountant in the Finance and Accounting department, your main focus will be the responsibility for all aspects of federal, state & local management of Tax & VAT compliance and Tax & VAT reporting processes in Mexico for all Mexican entities. You will play a key role in ensuring adherence to both local and international tax laws, transfer pricing policies, and practices. Requierements: ~ Strong background in finance or accounting. A university degree in a relevant field is a plus ~5 years of experience in VAT recovery (documentary support, knowledge of all criteria for VAT refunds) - Mandatory. ~ Experience in responding to SAT requirements, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance and up-to-date status. ~ Experience in recording, preparing provisional payments, and transfer pricing ~ Fluent English ~ Proficiency in SAP ERP ~ Handling internal and external audits ~ Robust knowledge of Income Taxes &VAT, Withholding Tax and other indirect tax regulations specific to Mexico Job Offer: Christmas Bonus Vacation bonus of 50% Grocery vouchers Savings fund Insurance for major medical expenses Life Insurance
