Senior Transaction Advisory Services Consultant

Forvis Mazars is hiring a Senior Transaction Services Professional – Mexico City (LatAm focus) At Forvis Mazars Mexico, we are expanding our Transaction Services practice and seeking a motivated Senior professional to join our team in Mexico, one of the fastest-growing hubs for M&A and cross-border deals in LatAM. In this role, you will lead financial due diligence engagements (buy-side and sell-side), help clients assess opportunities and risks, and collaborate with international teams across the U.S. and LatAm. Key Responsibilities - Conduct financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions. - Analyze financial performance and operational results of target companies. - Prepare Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and identify key diligence issues and value drivers. - Evaluate financial trends, normalize EBITDA, and identify post-transaction risks or synergies. - Lead client meetings and support executive discussions. - Collaborate with teams in Mexico, U.S., and LatAm to deliver cross-border projects. - Build robust financial models for analysis and valuation. - Supervise and mentor junior team members. - Contribute to business development, proposals, and client presentations. - Stay current on M&A trends and best practices. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in Transaction Services, M&A advisory, or financial due diligence (consulting). - Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling. - Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, international environment. - English Proficient. - Experience working with U.S. or international clients is highly desirable.
