Role Title: SAP SD Consultant

Employment Type: Contract

Preferred Location: Mexico, Remote

Role Overview

The SAP SD Consultant will play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions within a dynamic IT services environment. This role partners closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure SAP SD solutions align with client business goals and improve sales and distribution processes.

The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in SAP SD, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system configurations and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP SD

• Configure SAP SD modules in alignment with best practices and client requirements

• Develop and execute detailed test scenarios to validate functionality and quality standards

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD to quickly identify and resolve issues

• Collaborate with functional consultants and technical teams to integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules and third-party applications

• Deliver end-user training and create user documentation to drive adoption and effective system usage

• Participate in project meetings and contribute to overall project planning, execution, and delivery

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience as an SAP SD Consultant with strong understanding of sales and distribution processes

• Strong knowledge of SAP SD configuration, including pricing, sales order management, and delivery processing

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess user needs and system capabilities

• Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules, including MM, PP, and FI

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting SAP implementations or enhancements in consulting or enterprise environments

• Experience developing functional specifications for custom SAP developments

• Experience providing training and support to end users
