Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Analyze, record and provide the documentation and accounting adjustments that ensure the financial closure of Non-Purchase Orders, Invoice processing and other cross charges for the company, as well as prepare, integrate and execute the financial reports in order to provide reliable information to shareholders based in corporative polices from PepsiCo.

Your Impact

As Cntrl & Rpt Accountant your responsibilities would consist of:

• Assist with period-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals to ensure accuracy of financial statement during period end closing, including HFM upload.
• Collaborate with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions.
• Prepare. record and analyze, Non PO's invoice processing.
• Analyze WBS projects and attend requests from Finance Managers.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of invoices with the different departments (IT, Accounts Payable, Intercompanies), follow up on all projects, periodically monitor project status, and track budgets.
• Participate in the Periodic, Quarterly and Annual and Quarterly reports required by the organization.
• Generate clear communication with OU, Intercompany counterparts and other users throughout the region and in the SSC.
• Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Support external audit requests.
• Complete ad hoc projects as requested.

Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

• Accounting degree (CPA preferred).
• Experience in USGAAP is a plus.
• Good time management skills, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have excellent verbal and written communication skills (english and spanish), has the ability to collaborate cross functionally with US teams.
• Advanced knowledge of the principles Accounting processes (Bank Management/ AR/ AP / GL/Intercompanies/ Financial Reporting), and business standards for integrated financial analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Proficiency in Excel is essential, VBA's knowledge preferred) as well as basic knowledge in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Knowledge desirable in the following ERP´s: SAP, HFM, FDM.
