Supplier Industrialization Engineer - Interiors ( SIE ) long-term Contract
Duration: Long-term Contract
Plan, Organize, Integrate, Direct, Coordinate, and Control the Quality Function, ensuring compliance with the Suppliers objectives established for the area through the optimal utilization of resources, in accordance with the Quality Policy and the Health, Safety & Environmental Policy. Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:
Industrial Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Quality Engineering or a related technical discipline
Master's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration (MBA)
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
IATF 16949 Core Tools Training (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
Fluent in English (written and spoken) for technical documentation, customer communication, and global standards compliance.
Spanish proficiency (written and spoken) strongly preferred for collaboration with local teams, suppliers, and plant operations.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality within automotive or manufacturing environments.
Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other core quality tools.
Strong background in customer quality management, including handling complaints, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, train personnel, and foster a culture of quality and safety.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding, painting/coating, and assembly is highly desirable.
Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, root cause analysis) and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
