For long term project we are looking for a bilingual (spanish/english) Data Steward consultant with experience working with Collibra platform focus on data catalog maturity (identifying columns, tables, business terms and defining characteristics).

Identifying and documenting Table Sets and Values.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Quality & Integrity: Defining quality metrics, monitoring data, identifying and fixing errors, and ensuring data is clean and reliable.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Implementing data policies, ensuring adherence to regulations (GDPR, etc.), and managing sensitive data classification.
- Metadata & Lineage: Managing data definitions, documentation, and tracking data's lifecycle (origin, transformations, destination).
- Security & Access: Working with IT to establish access controls, encryption, and security protocols.
- Business-IT Liaison: Translating business needs to technical teams and vice versa, facilitating communication.
- Data Lifecycle Management: Supporting data handling from collection to archival, making it sustainable and valuable.

Core Duties:

- Drafting data quality rules and standards.
- Monitoring data loads and ensuring consistency.
- Analyzing data for insights and reporting.
- Resolving data-related issues and preventing future problems.

- Understanding of governance, security, and privacy principles.
- Problem-solving and technical writing.
