The sustaining engineer is responsible for providing technical support for HVAC products in production or in use by customers, ensuring their performance, quality, and availability. They manage design improvements, engineering changes (ECR/ECO), technical troubleshooting, and coordination with departments such as manufacturing, quality, service, and production. Their goal is to maintain and extend the product’s service life, reduce costs, and ensure operational continuity.
- Under the direction of the engineering supervisor, develop 3D models and 2D production drawings/designs using Autodesk Inventor.
- Verify changes to engineering CAD designs before they are reviewed by the reviewer/supervisor.
- Under the direction of the engineering supervisor, develop and design new and existing 3D models based on DFM (design for manufacturability).
- Pay attention to detail when creating new CAD designs and working with bills of materials.
- Create bills of materials from 3D CAD models using the PLM system.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operational deficiencies or reduce production issues.
- Manage problem-solving and tasks related to CAD. 1. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, et.) 2. 2 to 4 years of experience with CAD applications. 3. Mechanical design / Product design 4. Autodesk AutoCAD 2D (intermediate level) 5. Autodesk Inventor 2D & 3D (basic level) 6. Autodesk Vault 7. Intermidiate English
