Fiat Chrysler-STELLANTIS México ((Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge y RAM, Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel y Vauxhall), empresa trasnacional del sector automotriz y de las 25 mejores empresas para trabajar en México, te invita a formar parte de su equipo como Quality Plant Engineering Lead (Body, Chassis, Interior)- TEMPORARY CONTRACT (18th months) Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or higher in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university (other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered) - Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Body, Interior & Chassis components. - Previous experience in Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant or Project team - Ability to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time - Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop Floor - Ability to work off shift hours as necessary - Self-motivated and directed - Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects - Rigorous and pragmatic - Languages: plant language & English Preferred: - Masters Degree - Green belt - World Class Manufacturing Experience Job Description: - Define containment actions to apply for customer protection (including supplier Issues) - Do vehicle issue diagnosis and root cause analysis - Ensure that his team carries out the pre-analysis activities on time - Do risk assessments and lead corrective action plans - Guarantee the product – process maturity of the components of his perimeter management of serial life (windows change management). - Propose alternative product solution in case of issues (as shortage) to avoid to stop mass production in the plant - Participate in Quality ENG tech clubs. - Implementation of good idea and standards (Read Across) - Ensure the right application in the plant of the technical requirements and the meta function "métiers" standards of his perimeter - Ensure that the skills of his team is at the right level - Ensure the management activities of his team (daily management control meeting) - Ensure that his team is working in safety - Lead quality KPI management to achieve quality objectives, driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation - Resolution of systemic/chronic or major quality issues (Top Warranty, Recalls, ...) - Technical support Yard Holds / Product Related Issues (PRI's) technical referent inside the PRI. - Set-up / On-going Controls for Process / product Standards for Vehicle & System Functional Objectives (i.e. ADAS, BSR, FEA) 100% On-site position at Saltillo ́s plant We offer: Direct hiring Above the law benefits EOE / Disability / Veteran At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
