Conceivable Life Sciences is pioneering the world's first AI-powered, automated IVF laboratory, revolutionizing reproductive healthcare through cutting-edge robotics and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Site Reliability Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the entire cloud infrastructure of our growing company (~60 employees).

About the Role

The engineer will be responsible for building the cloud foundation from scratch, defining best practices, and ensuring high availability, automation, and cost optimization. This position will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and IT teams to create a strong operational backbone that allows the business to scale effectively.

Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment: Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure). Define networking, IAM policies, security groups, and data storage.
- Automation & Reliability: Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation). Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, backups). Set up disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Support compliance efforts (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, as applicable).
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with developers to containerize and deploy applications (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS). Provide training and documentation for internal users.
- Operations & Incident Response: Define and track SLOs/SLIs for critical services. Establish incident management and on-call processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Systems Engineering roles.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Cloud monitoring & observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
- CI/CD pipeline design (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Strong Linux/Unix systems administration background.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
- English proficiency
