Advertising Copywriter

This role will be located at two of Discovery Land Company's locations: Chileno Bay Golf & Beach Club, and, El Dorado Golf & Beach Club, set at Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, México.

We are seeking a Copywriter to join the Marketing Department.

The Copywriter is responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive content in English and Spanish, that reflects Chileno Bay's voice and values. This role supports marketing, communications, and internal & departmental initiatives by developing copy for digital platforms, social media, print, and general campaigns. With creativity, attention to detail, and cultural sensitivity, the Copywriter ensures that every message connects authentically with diverse audiences and strengthens the brand's presence and company goals.

Partner with key stakeholders to translate business strategies into creative, impactful copy.
Ability to draft stakeholder communications that capture the vision, voice, tone and messaging of the brand and individuals
Identify and articulate unique selling points while maintaining Chileno Bay and El Dorado Company's luxury brand voice.
Create original content for digital platforms, creative projects, events and product descriptions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Departmental Leaders and Executive Leadership teams to develop messaging for club communications and product/program offerings
Draft e-mail marketing and newsletter campaigns that encourage engagement and conversions
Drive brand consistency by applying and upholding copy and style guidelines across all platforms.
Review and refine final work for quality assurance before approval and publication.
Regularly audit website and digital channels for copy quality and updates.
Support bilingual communication needs (Spanish English) to engage diverse audiences.
Ensure timely completion of projects while managing multiple priorities.

Minimum of BA in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related field.
~ Experience with SEO writing, content management systems, and proofreading.
~ Familiarity with brand storytelling and appreciation for design.
~3-5 years of writing experience in copywriting or content creation experience.
