About the Role
Job ID 304817 Location Mexico Queretaro Company Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full-time Experience Level Professional / Experienced How to contribute to our vision To support Siemens Energy's Gas Services, this role is established to ensure the efficient acquisition of direct goods and services required for Service Operations. To address this business aim, this role focuses on the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, encompassing product/service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing negotiations, contract administration, and supplier performance management. Given the focus on operational procurement, the ideal candidate will possess solid experience in tactical sourcing, negotiation, and contract administration, with a strong ability to manage supplier relationships within a global organizational framework. What You Need To Make a Difference
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for direct and indirect operations to secure optimal commercial terms
- Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings and project alignment
- Manage RFQ/RFP processes from initiation through to supplier selection and award
- 40% Order Processing & Contract Administration
- Execute and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Administer contracts and purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and legal requirements
- Coordinate with logistics, quality, and finance teams to resolve invoice and delivery discrepancies
- Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs to ensure quality and delivery compliance
- Resolve supplier non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English
- Min 3 years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management Skills
