Job Offer: Recruiter (Sourcing + Full-Cycle Candidate Champion)

Location: On site (office preference is a plus)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Role Overview

Responsibilities

As a Recruiter you’ll be the heartbeat of the candidate journey:

- Source top talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and creative outreach.
- Conduct efficient candidate screens—assessing skills, motivations, and fit with precision.
- Coach candidates before interviews to ensure they shine.
- Build trust through timely updates, feedback, and authentic communication.
- Keep pipelines organized, fast-moving, and transparent.
- Join client kickoff calls with founders and VC-backed companies.
- Shadow senior recruiters during the first 2 weeks to learn scripts and processes.
- Schedule interviews and gradually take ownership of candidate screens.
- Track KPIs related to sourcing speed and candidate engagement.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who:

- Moves fast but thoughtfully, balancing hustle with judgment.
- Is self-motivated and proactive.
- Communicates clearly, honestly, and energetically.
- Loves emerging tech and startup culture.
- Thrives in competitive, feedback-driven environments.
- Handles volume without losing quality.

Added Preferences:

- Polished presence for calls with founders and VC partners.
- High energy and urgency (sales-like personality is a plus).
- Competitive mindset (athletic background valued).
- Female-identifying candidates preferred (client request).
- Early career stage (2–6 years post-graduation).

Experience & Skills

- 1–2 years in recruiting or client-facing roles (sales, customer service, operations).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to perform Boolean searches and identify talent on LinkedIn (training provided).
- Organized, process-oriented, and resourceful.

Nice-to-Have Tools:

- LinkedIn Recruiter
- ATS (Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Ashby, CoMeet)
- Google Workspace
- ChatGPT or other AI tools for sourcing/messaging

Non-Negotiables:

- Strong English proficiency (pronunciation and accent are critical).
- Availability to work EST hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- High urgency and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.

Training & Growth

- Shadow 25+ interviews in the first 2 weeks.
- Access to internal scripts, templates, and cheat sheets.
- Role plays with senior recruiters to refine candidate screens.
- Growth path to full-cycle recruiting and client-facing responsibilities.
