SMT Equipment Engineer
We are looking for an SMT Equipment Support & Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of our SMT production lines. This role provides technical support, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on SMT equipment (pick‐and‐place, reflow ovens, SPI/AOI, screen printers).
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Support production teams during setups, changeovers, and daily operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement actions.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, spare parts, and technical support.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
- Experience with SMT equipment (Yamaha, Panasonic, Juki, Fuji, ASM preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in automation, sensors, motors, and PLC basics.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and follow maintenance standards.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high‐volume electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of IPC standards
- Familiarity with MES systems
