The Global Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s international trade operations by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and helping streamline cross-border transactions. This position is ideal for a candidate experience in international trade compliance, customs procedures, and import/export regulations
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure organizational adherence to laws, regulations, and agreements.
- Assist with import and export compliance activities, including product classification, licensing, and documentation review.
- Contribute to the development of mitigation strategies and identify potential compliance risks.
- Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure accurate and timely customs entries.
- Maintain documentation and records to support audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, supply chain, and logistics to integrate compliance requirements into operational processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trade compliance processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Business, or related field.
- 3-4+ years of experience in trade compliance and customs procedures.
- Able to work cross-functionally with trade, logistics and procurement teams.
- Understanding of import/export laws, trade documentation, and free trade agreement analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
