Financial Planning & Analysis Advisor

Salary Range:

Payroll: (28,000 MXN - 35,000 MXN)

Direct: (35,000 MXN - 44,000 MXN)

*To be fully determined based on experience and hiring modality. No commissions, nor variable payment structures.

Location: Fully Remote / Work from Home

Schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM (CST)

About the role

We are an advisory and accounting firm that helps businesses with financial reporting, planning, and strategic guidance. Our remote team works closely with clients to provide clear, accurate, and timely financial insights.

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Advisor to join the Client Advisory Services team. In this role, you will provide financial guidance to a portfolio of client businesses, develop budgets and forecasts, and deliver insights that help clients make informed business decisions. This is a client-facing role across multiple industries, working closely with bookkeeping and tax teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead monthly and quarterly financial review calls with business owners, walking through reports, insights, and recommendations.
- Build dynamic financial models, rolling forecasts, and multi-scenario plans that align with client goals.
- Analyze performance to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity analyses.
- Create dashboards in Excel or Power BI highlighting KPIs and trends.
- Advise clients on pricing, staffing, capital planning, and funding readiness.
- Collaborate with tax and accounting teams to ensure consistent insights.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, CFA a plus).
- 3+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or business advisory (CPA/advisory firm experience preferred).
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain financial concepts to non-financial clients.
- Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

- Accounting/ERP: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct
- FP&A & Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, Pigment, LivePlan, Jirav, Fathom
- Productivity: Excel (advanced), Teams, Slack, Asana
