📍 Hybrid | Mexico City
🕒 Full-Time
We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Mexico City. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer with strong AWS expertise, a passion for automation, and a solid background in systems reliability, scalability, and performance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure systems on AWS ☁️
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK
- Develop and maintain automation and tooling using Python 🐍
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and deployment pipelines
- Manage CI/CD workflows using GitLab
- Perform advanced system administration on Linux (Bash scripting) 🐧
- Administer Windows environments with advanced PowerShell scripting 🪟
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, ensuring SLAs and SLOs are met
- Drive reliability best practices, observability, and continuous improvement
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
- ✅ Strong hands-on experience with AWS (mandatory)
- ✅ Experience with GitLab CI/CD
- ✅ Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK
- ✅ Strong programming skills in Python
- ✅ Familiarity with Go (Golang)
- ✅ Advanced Linux OS administration and Bash scripting
- ✅ Advanced Windows OS administration and PowerShell scripting
- ✅ Experience in production environments with high availability and reliability requirements
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Experience working in hybrid or enterprise-scale environments
