B2B Sales Executive International Trade & Freight Forwarding (Zapopan)
Who we are
Well-established company in the international trade and freight/parcel forwarding sector, operating in Zapopan, Jalisco, specialized in providing import solutions to industrial and manufacturing clients. We are looking to add to our sales team someone with a strong prospecting mindset, negotiation skills, and a passion for building long-term business relationships.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in International Business, International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.2 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, transportation, parcel/freight forwarding, or international trade.
Proven experience prospecting new clients (cold calls, field visits, networking, LinkedIn).
Full sales-cycle management: prospecting, quoting, negotiation, closing, and after-sales follow-up.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of international logistics processes, incoterms, transportation modes, and customs documentation.
Fluent English to communicate with international clients and suppliers.
Proficiency with CRM and sales management tools.
Willingness to travel (field visits outside the local area). Main activities Build your own database of potential clients in the industrial and manufacturing segment through calls, visits, LinkedIn, and networking.
Actively prospect new clients with frequent import potential and reactivate inactive accounts.
Execute the full sales cycle: needs assessment, quoting, negotiation, closing, and follow-up.
Develop customized quotes for international parcel/freight services.
Update the CRM daily and report on key indicators: conversion, new clients, and goal achievement.
Support clients throughout the operational process, resolving questions about routes, transit times, documentation, and logistics costs. Skills and competencies Commercial negotiation and persuasive communication.
Results orientation and sense of urgency.
Consultative selling: active listening and needs diagnosis.
Proactivity and sales discipline (systematic follow-up).
Resilience under pressure and objection handling.
Teamwork and coordination with the operations area.
